Young Living's Guayaquil, Ecuador Farm

The tropical climate in Guayaquil, Ecuador, allows Young Living to plant and harvest year-round. The Ecuador farm’s rich soil and lush environment nourish our most exotic botanicals, including as ylang ylang and dorado azul. The Ecuador farm’s state-of-the-art distillery is one of the largest in South America.

One of our favorite stories about Ecuador was shared by D. Gary Young at a Silver Retreat. He said he was prepping for a damn in Ecuador because, believe or not, they have a dry season. If he didn’t finish the damn before the rainy season began, they couldn’t gather water needed for crop when it was dry.

While D. Gary Young was on the bull dozer the rains began to fall. He said he just surrendered the project to God. He told God that if the rain continued, they couldn’t make crops that year. As soon as he finished praying, the rain stopped and they finished the damn.
