As a dedicated homeschooling mom, I am deeply motivated to teach my five children to be good stewards and caretakers of our beautiful planet. My process started when it was necessary to find ways to clean the house, leave it smelling fantastic without chemicals. Various members of my family suffer from chemical sensitivities, and I wanted them to be welcomed always. I love doing projects that teach me and my children, while recycling what I can, and limiting the impact we have on the earth. Young Living has provided me with so many opportunities for growth and knowledge. The essential oils have enhanced my family’s life and I enjoy the camaraderie and support that Young Living provides.
I am happy to provide information on essential oils, potential uses, and Young Living. I love facilitating and participating in Make-and-Take Classes where you have a take-home project using essential oils that fulfills a need you have. For instance, the latest Make-and-Take Class instructed us how to make our own Focus Roll-on, and Happy Feet Foot Rub. Both of these I used for a three day event that I sat for long periods as well as stood for long periods. So helpful. Please let me know how I can help you! Whether it's answering a question or teaching a class, I would love to work with you.
This past weekend, my family participated in a 1/2 Marathon and 4 Miler. We had trained for this day for a long time. In fact, my homeschool routine included a couch to 5k program to help the kids shape up for this. For my 1/2 marathon (13.1 miles), I did use a variety of essential oils; however, for this post, I want to focus on NingXia Nitro.
The course for this event was enormously hilly. The first 5 or 6 miles were pretty much straight up. Rocky. Rugged. Narrow. Think stereotypical Pacific Northwest outback terrain. It was fantastic. That being said, I needed to have energy boosts, and mental energy boosts. On previous runs where I have used NingXia Nitro, I have found that I have completed the runs with plenty of energy and could have continued on. The same was true for this event. I got to the halfway point, downed the tube, and kept going.
I finished the run strong and happy. Also, I was able to walk back a ways to meet my friend and run alongside her while she completed the event. SCORE!!!
I found NingXia Nitro helpful to me during this event. Perhaps you’ll notice similar results. I certainly hope so!
Recently, I have fallen in love with the essential oil called Sacred Mountain. The reason I purchased it was that the description said this essential oil promotes feelings of strength, empowerment, grounding and protection. My husband, in particular, was struggling with a decision, not feeling confident on which direction to go at all. What we found was that we enjoyed the scent when it was diffused, and it made the atmosphere calmer. My children and I take time during the day (even during summer) to read together and do a little math work to stay sharp. Diffusing Sacred Mountain really enhanced our experience. We find it tremendously relaxing and enjoyable! For me, the scent reminds me of a hiking trail here in the Pacific Northwest that has lots of trees, pine needles, and fragrant flowers. ****Just a note though – I found that the smell was overwhelming from the bottle. Frankly, I didn’t like it. However, I have a huge living room and found that five drops of Sacred Mountain was fantastic! **** I hope that you’ll love it when you try it.
